Faustina Charles Mfinanga, better known by her stage name Nandy, is a Tanzanian actress, singer, and songwriter who is of Pare descent. She was born on November 9, 1992.
She was born and raised in the Tanzanian city of Moshi in the Kilimanjaro Region by her tailor parents Mary Charles and mechanic Charles Mfinanga. Her given name, Nandera, has been abbreviated to Nandy. She went to Mawenzi Primary School before transferring to Lomwe High School, where she eventually rose to the position of choir director. She enrolled in the College of Business Education (CBE), Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, after graduating from high school.
