Omari Mwanga, better known by his stage name Marioo, was born in 1995 in Tanzania and is a singer, songwriter, and record producer. Yanga Anthem, a new song, was released today.
Additionally, Marioo started his work as a welder in Dar es Salaam, where he was inspired to pursue his dream of becoming a vocalist despite facing financial challenges. His debut album, Dar Kugumu, was recorded in 2017 and released by Instinct Records in January 2018.
He wrote several popular songs that year, including Wasikudanganye (sung by Nandy), Nampa PAPA (performed by Gigy Money), Nabembea (performed by Ditto), and PAMBE (performed by Christian Bella).
