Dr. Komba-Mgeni is a Tanzanian medical doctor and politician. He is a member of the Chama Cha Mapinduzi (CCM) party and has served as a Member of Parliament (MP) for the Mikumi constituency since 2015.
Dr. Komba-Mgeni was born in Mikumi District in 1965. He attended the University of Dar es Salaam, where he earned a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) degree in 1992. He then went on to earn a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree from the same university in 2000.
After completing his medical studies, Dr. Komba-Mgeni worked as a medical officer in various hospitals in Tanzania. He also served as a lecturer at the Muhimbili University of Health and Allied Sciences.
In 2015, Dr. Komba-Mgeni was elected to the National Assembly of Tanzania as the MP for Mikumi. He is a member of the CCM’s parliamentary caucus and serves on the Health and Social Welfare Committee.
Dr. Komba-Mgeni is a vocal advocate for the improvement of healthcare in Tanzania. He has spoken out against the shortage of doctors and nurses in the country, and he has called for the government to invest more in healthcare. He is also a strong supporter of the government’s efforts to fight HIV/AIDS and malaria.
Dr. Komba-Mgeni is a married man with two children. He is a devout Muslim and is active in his community. He is a member of the Mikumi District Council and is involved in a number of community development projects.
